A Watercolor Painting Workshop for Beginners by Beth Ciborek

-The workshop is designed for beginners to learn the basic materials and techniques used in watercolor painting. In addition to the types of brushes and papers that are available, the class will help students learn shading, composition, and color balance.

WHEN: Two Saturdays, August 21 and August 28 - 11am-1pm

Beth Ciborek received her Bachelor¹s Degree in Art Education from Kent State University in 2002. She graduated Magna Cum Laude and was a member of The Honors College. Since then, she has developed art programs and acted as a Substitute Teacher in Akron, Stow, and Cuyahoga Falls. In addition to coordinating Art Shows, she¹s created and implemented lessons in Photography and Drawing for students in grades 9 through 12. Her
creativity and commitment to art education are commendable and we at Standing Rock Cultural Arts are both honored and excited to be able to offer her skills to our community.
